About English Rose Calligraphy
Welcome, I'm Catherine, the face behind the business. Alongside my calligraphy studio, I also run a successful administration business, balancing creativity with organisation. I'm a Mother to two wonderful girls. When I'm not designing written calligraphy, you'll most likely find me embracing a moment curled up in a cosy nest of blankets on the sofa with a hot chocolate in hand. I'm a devoted Outlander fan and love spending quiet moments reading books focused on personal growth, encouragement, and self-development.
Calligraphy has a special place in my heart, not only as a creative passion but also because my late Grandad dabbled in calligraphy and was a watercolour artist. I feel incredibly proud to be following in his footsteps through my own artistic journey.
Founded in 2020, English Rose Calligraphy Studio specialises in elegant, handcrafted calligraphy for weddings, special occasions, and meaningful celebrations. From beautifully addressed envelopes and place cards to bespoke event stationery, each piece is carefully created with attention to detail and a passion for timeless design.
I believe that handwritten calligraphy adds a personal touch that cannot be replicated, transforming stationery into cherished keepsakes. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, I work closely with each client to create beautiful details that reflect their unique style and vision.
My aim is to bring elegance, refinement, and a touch of romance to every project, ensuring each piece is as memorable as the occasion it represents. Based in Suffolk, I am proud to offer bespoke calligraphy services throughout the UK.
I believe the beauty is in the details. Every piece of calligraphy I create is carefully handwritten with patience, creativity, and precision. Combining traditional calligraphy techniques with a modern, romantic style. I create bespoke designs that help make weddings, celebrations, and special moments feel even more memorable. There is nothing more satisfying than that nib scratching some textured paper.
